Superstar Céline Dion has postponed her shows in Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh.
This past Tuesday, the artist’s PR team released a statement mentioning the rescheduled tour dates on March 11th and March 13th because she was feeling sick. Due to the rise of coronavirus cases, the pop star took precaution and tested for COVID-19.
Fortunately, Céline Dion did not test positive for the disease and only has the common cold. Earlier today the World Health Organization declared a pandemic as the virus continues to spread around the world. The icon will return to D.C. and Pittsburgh in November. Dion reached out to her fans on Facebook and stated that she’s “so sorry for disappointing my fans in Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh… I hope everyone understands.”
