NASA orbiter captures lookalike image of Pink Floyd’s album cover on Mars

I’ll see you on the dark side of the red planet.

The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter camera team captured an image that’s out of this world, literally. While examining photos of the red planet, the team noticed some similarities of one particular image.

 

You know Pink Floyd’s acclaimed “The Dark Side of the Moon” album cover? Well, it seems as though it made its way to Mars. Check out the comparisons below.

Is this proof that there is a dark side of the moon after all? (Spoiler alert: there isn’t.)
