Elton John will play his last American show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on November 20. And in case you can’t make the gig, Disney announced last weekend during its D23 Expo that it will livestream the event on Disney+.
Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium will air as part of a package that includes the previously announced documentary Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John Performances and the Years That Made His Legend. The documentary co-directed by John, his husband David Furnish, and R.J. Cutler who directed the Billie Eilish documentary, Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, will feature previously unseen concert footage of John from the past 50 years and culminate with the final shows in November in Los Angeles. It was in 1975, that John played a pair of sold-out shows for more that 100,000 people at Dodger Stadium that helped cement his legendary status in America.
