In the Halloween Spirit?
Take a trip around Austin and see the scary sights! Here’s a few locations for you frightening fall fiends!
Highland/Crestview
Artist Tony Sansevero constructs a massive interactive attraction that’s become a neighborhood tradition. Over 40 feet long it features themed rooms and a movie screening setup. Thanks to contributions from neighbors and long hours of work Tony has crafted something truly special. Located 302 E. Skyview Road.
Not far there lies a “Cemetery of Old Austin,” a spectacle for lost local business’s and notable names. Located near Hardy Ln. on W. St. Johns.

Hyde Park
Classic vintage neighborhood just north of downtown! A lot of older and newer builds with lots of variety!

And the occasional flash mob?
Allandale
Another notable neighborhood with plenty of spooky decorations! The standout is surely @allandalehalloweenhouse located Shoal Creek Blvd. across from the west side of Northwest Park. The house is transformed into an eerie wooden shack straight out of a slasher movie. Definitely a must stop.
Great Hills/Barrington Oaks
Do I have to say anything about this long-time favorite? This is a picture of last years theme, Jurassic Park, but this year teases a spooky pirate ship!
Stay up to date on Barrington Halloween and find them at 11306 Barrington Way.
Leander
One fantastic spot located at 906 Ridgemont Circle in Leander has turned their garage into a haunted house with animatronics, pet cemetery, zombie alley, and other spooky themes.
Great place to also donate non perishables to support Operation Liberty Hill. Open Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 beginning at 6 p.m. If you’re in the area you’ve got to take a look at this free attraction!
