Weezer and Fall Out Boy took the stage together, but it wasn’t for your typical live performance.
Both bands were battling it out on the Celebrity Family Feud stage with Steve Harvey. The band members played to win money for a charity of their choice. The game requires five spots to fill, and with both groups having only four members, they each brought in an additional companion.
Fall Out Boy welcomed actor and comedian Seth Green while Weezer recruited their producer and recording engineer Suzy Shinn.
The episode premiered on September 20 and the clip below shows Pete Wentz and Rivers Cuomo commence the first round. Rivers and Cuomo walked up to the center of the stage and greeted each other with a hug.
“I think that’s the first time we’ve ever hugged,” laughed Wentz. The crowd chuckled and Cuomo responded, “Maybe the last time.” The survey question they answered was answered by 100 men. “In hell, the strippers look like who?” asked Harvey.
Watch the hilarious encounter below and see who wins the first round, plus who takes it all.
