Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson, Nirvana‘s Krist Novoselic, Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones and more have been added to the lineups of the two Foo Fighters‘ tribute concerts in honor of late drummer Taylor Hawkins. The first concert is set to take place at Wembley Stadium London on September 3, and the second show will be held at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles on September 27. Jones and Novoselic will be performing at both concerts, while Wilson will take part in the LA event. Chris Rock will also be joining Dave Chappelle at the London show.
Other new additions include frequent Foo Fighters producer Greg Kurstin and Queens of the Stone Age collaborator Alain Johannes at both shows; Nile Rodgers and music prodigy Nandi Bushell at the London concert; and Pink and LeAnn Rimes at the Los Angeles event. Musical guests will be “playing the songs that Taylor loved and created, with and alongside his FF brothers Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee,” according to a press release.
